MICRONEEDLING CARE SHEET

Microneedling is an effective, non-surgical, non-laser treatment that stimulates skin collagen production revealing fresh, new skin. It’s a medical grade Collagen Induction Therapy treating scarring, fine lines, wrinkles, stretch marks + hyperpigmentation. RéjuvapenNXT Microneedling naturally stimulates the body’s self-repair process to renew skin appearance and improve skin texture while correcting a variety of skin concerns on the face, neck and chest (Décolleté) area.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Your actual Microneedling treatment can last about 1 hour. Time depends on the area being treated and the condition being treated for
  • A topical numbing is required prior to each treatment
  • The treatment uses tiny needles that creates invisible, microscopic punctures in the epidermis and on the top layer of the dermis at different depths
  • After the procedure, you will experience redness and swelling. The redness often subsides within 1-3 days
  • We recommend at least 4-8 sessions, each spaced out 4-6 weeks apart, depending on the treatment goal and skin type

BEFORE CARE

  • Discontinue the use of retinoids, topical antibiotics, acids, defoliants, exfoliants, bleaching cream, Clarite (hydroquinone), and benzoyl peroxide 3-5 days PRIOR to treatment
  • Discontinue any laser procedures 7 days PRIOR
  • Do not shave the day of your microneedling treatment
  • Do not wax at least 5 days PRIOR to your treatment
  • If you can, come in with treatment area clean and free of makeup or lotions
