ULTHERAPY CARE SHEET

Laserbody MD offers Ultherapy, the Gold Standard in nonsurgical skin lifting and tightening, with just one Ultherapy treatment. Ultherapy uses safe, time-tested ultrasound energy to lift and tighten the skin naturally—without surgery, needles or downtime. 

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Please arrive 10 minutes early to fill out all of the necessary paperwork
  • It is recommended to remove all jewelry or piercings prior to your treatment
  • It is ideal to arrive makeup free with a clean face 
  • Your Ultherapy sessions will be about 60 to 180 minutes, depending on the area(s) being treated
  • The treated area(s) may be slightly pink for up to a few hours post treatment
  • There may be a slight plumping effect post treatment
  • Bruising, swelling and tenderness can occur in the treated area(s)
  • You may immediately apply makeup following the treatment
  • With the exception of possible bruising there is no downtime after your Ultherapy.
  •  You will be able to return to your normal daily routine and exercise program immediately after the
    procedure

BEFORE CARE

  • Take 2 Tylenol Extra Strength one hour before your treatment 
  • Take 2 Advil Extra Strength when in the clinic during facial mapping

AFTER CARE

  • Avoid the routine use of anti-inflammatory medications such as ibuprofen, naproxen and celebrex for one month
  • Apply the recommended topical skincare to maximize and maintain the results you obtain
  • With the exception of possible bruising there is no downtime after your treatment
  • You may lightly place ice on the treatment area(s)  to relieve any swelling and redness
  • Maintenance treatments are recommended every 1.5 to 2 years depending on the need


Although unusual, some complications can occur after your Ultherapy treatment. If you have extreme pain, redness or swelling, please contact your doctor immediately and notify the clinic.
